HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR CREDIT REGISTRATION

Pay your bills on time: The most important rule for maintaining good credit is to pay your bills, bills and debts on time. You can start improving your credit history immediately, making at least the minimum payments on time. If you follow this advice, in a few months you will result in a new and better credit report.
Use credit in moderation: Another rule of thumb is to not spend more than a third of your income paying off debts, including mortgages, credit cards, and consumer credit. Try to use credit cards only for purchases that have long-term value, such as furniture, medical care, or emergency repairs. DO NOT depend on credit cards for everyday expenses like dining out or paying for entertainment.
Correct the errors: Your credit is a reflection of the information that is on your credit report. If the report contains negative information, it will impact your credit negatively, regardless of whether the information is accurate or not. Check the reports of the three credit bureaus to see if they are accurate, at least once a year, and especially several months before applying for a credit.
Pay off old debts: Make it possible to pay off all your outstanding debts. Establish a written payment plan and when you have paid an account, make sure you receive a letter from the creditor in which you update your credit bureau record.
Pay more than the minimum required: If you pay only the minimum debt each month, you will end up paying a lot of money in interest. For example, if you have a card with an interest rate of 18.5 percent and only pay the minimum balance due each month, it will take you over 11 years to pay a debt of $ 2,000, in addition to paying interest of $ 1,934, almost double the value of your purchase.
Do not use the maximum limit of your credit cards: Use only between 30 and 50 percent of the available revolving credit.
Work with an Honest, Non-Profit Credit Counseling Organization: There are many honest, non-profit, community-based organizations that can offer individual assistance to help you improve your credit. Do not confuse costly credit repair clinics with legitimate nonprofit credit counseling organizations. Be very careful with organizations that charge large initial fees, make unrealistic promises, and lack credentialing credentials. Contact us to confirm that any charges you are being charged are reasonable.
